What is mediation?

Mediation is a voluntary process where a neutral third party helps separating couples reach agreement on important issues - without going to court.

Is mediation legally binding?

The mediated agreement is not automatically binding. However, once both parties have signed and received legal advice, it can become legally enforceable.

Do I need a lawyer?

While I don’t represent either party as a lawyer, I recommend each person get legal advice before signing a final agreement.

What if we don’t agree?

That’s ok. Mediation doesn’t always result in complete agreement, but we can often resolve the most difficult parts - saving you time and money.

Do you offer online mediation?

Yes. I offer secure virtual mediation for clients throughout Ontario.
